Review
"Any Relief Society will find enough activities to keep them busy for years to come, but the ideas are also
valuable for other organizations within the church, and even for families looking for uplifting Family
Home Evenings."

The NEW guidelines for home, family, and personal enrichment meetings and
activities were revised to provide greater flexibility at the local level and greater focus
on the home and family. The changes that took effect on January 1, 2006 include:
* Quarterly Enrichment meetings (rather than monthly). One of these meetings
should be used to commemorate the March 17, 1842 organization of the
Relief Society.
* Enrichment activities held weekly, monthly, or as needed.
* Stake Enrichment Meetings held once or twice a year. One of these
meetings should be held in conjunction with the annual broadcast of the
general Relief Society meeting.
No need to panic! "Easy Enrichment Ideas: Thinking Outside The Green Gelatin
Box" is an excellent resource of ideas for the new changes! There are entire
chapters in the book that list fun ideas for new Relief Society traditions, monthly
activities, mid-week gatherings, holiday ideas and more! You can even check out
the NEW Enrichment Ideas Blog to get more ideas and share your own!
